Australian all rounder Shane Watson will be the interim captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League 2017 . After Virat’s injuries, coach Daniel Vettori announced the delivery of captaincy to AB de Villiers. It was later reported that De Villiers is troubled by the back injury and he withdrawn his name from the Momentum Cup . Although he has joined the team in Bangalore, but there is still doubt about his playing in the first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad .
In the absence of Kohli, Shane Watson will lead the team, with other international star players including Chris Gayle. However, Watson will get Virat Kohli’s help in the dressing room .
